When you say this out loud, the key is to channel your inner-Tina Belcher. ;)

Why does this scream “90s Nickalodeon stop-motion animation” to me?

And a weird reminder of my creepy childhood love interests.
I guess I’m switching Throwback Thursday to Tuesday.
(Not that I usually participate in that. I just want to fit innnn D:)
So, I started watching the Animaniacs on Youtube recently. Watched a couple episodes this afternoon. Not to go off on a tangent, but it is actually a ridiculously clever show, once you’re old and worldly enough to understand the dry humor and references.

The references to famous movies (Heart of Darkness, The Birds, The Godfather), actors (Jerry Lewis, Alfred Hitchcock) and even musicians (that running gag referencing The Door’s The End killed me!) were indeed plentiful.
So this is like my rediscovered treasure now. :)
Anyway, getting back to my terrible point… Needless to say, watching that show, memories, flooding back, yadda yadda yadda.
…So I may have had a crush on Yakko when I was really, really young and watched the show. For some reason, I remember really liking him. In that way that’s too juvenile to be anywhere near romantic, yet just a little too advanced to simply say “You’re funny.” Nyep.
Oh, six-year-old me… You were already crazy about the idea of interpersonal relationships and love, and didn’t even know it. ;)
But whatever, you guys! I’m not going to feel weird about this!
I mean, Monica from Friends can a crush on Kermit the Frog, and she still went on to live a basically full life… Albeit with the increasingly annoying Chandler Bing.
